CrossTown Kids

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,

                                    for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14).
 
In our Columbia Crossroads Downtown Children's Ministry (CrossTown Kids), we believe that it is important for children to meet Jesus when they are young.  It is our purpose as a ministry to come along side parents to nurture and encourage the spiritual development of their children, so that they might know their God, live their faith and share their hope.  Our goal is see our children evidence a relationship with Jesus Christ, a hunger to know God more, an understanding of the plan of redemption throughout Scripture, and a desire to see others come to know Jesus.  We believe that prayer, biblical and age-appropriate teaching, godly staff, and well-planned programs and activities are important components to reach this goal.

We love our CrossTown Volunteers! We welcome all types of gifts and abilities in the Children's Ministry. We can't wait to talk with you about how you can serve our sweet children and the little ones in the neighborhood around us!
