Worship Ministry

Worship of God is the sum total of our purpose and privilege as men and women made in the divine image. Scripture clearly teaches us that worship extends beyond the ceremonial and formal aspects of our religion to encompass of the whole of life (Rom.12:1-2). Everything we do is to be done to the glory of God (1Cor.10:31)! However, a key part of a life of worship is the regular gathering of the church for public worship. Since we believe Jesus' presence in grace and authority is especially known and experienced when his followers come together in His name to honor Him, we look forward to the corporate worship of the church as the beginning and end of our weeks. It is both the climax of our daily worship leading up to Sunday, and an empowerment for our worship in the days ahead.
